Colorado Ceasefire, a Denver, Colo. based nonprofit organization, was formed in 2000 as a political action committee (PAC), after the Colorado General Assembly failed to pass meaningful gun violence prevention laws following the Columbine High School mass shooting. They aim to reduce gun violence in Colorado through legislative advocacy, education and outreach.
As an advocacy organization, Colorado Ceasefire partnered with Sensus Media to create an informative, resource-driven website. The primary goal was to advance a legislative agenda while attracting new members and educating the community about Colorado guns.
The new Sentio Site is built on WordPress, utilizes Elementor page builder for easy management and integrates Salsa Labs, a platform that delivers nonprofit Donor Management, Fundraising, Advocacy, Event, and Marketing Automation tools for today’s nonprofits.
