42.2 million Americans lived in food-insecure households, including more than 13 million children, according to Feeding America and 2015 government statistics.
That’s 13 million children in America who are hungry everyday.
Kathy Fletcher and David Simpson didn’t lament this reality. They did something about it; something that America’s do almost weekly. They invited people into their home to eat. What seems like such a small gesture has had big impacts on the young people they invited into their home.
